How the report is laid out
- Summary. The property, the date, the inspection type, the number of defects and the headline items.
- Defects by room. Every item numbered, with a photograph, the location, what is wrong and what the standard requires.
- Exterior. The same, for the outside of the home and the plot.
- Tests carried out. What we ran, what we measured and the results.
- Scope. What the inspection covers and does not cover.

How a defect is recorded
Each item looks like this on the report: a number, a location, a photo and a plain description.
